Bank and exchange
The national currency is Dinar (RSD).
The opening hours of the majority of the banks are from 9:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m. on working days and Saturday. The banks are closed on Sundays.
Credit cards (VISA, Diners, Eurocard/Mastercard) are widely accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops. Service charges are usually included in the bill in pubs and restaurants, but tips are welcome.
Climate and weather conditions
Vrnjačka Banja has a mild continental climate with warm summers with chilly mornings and evenings due to wind from Goč, and winters with snow. Average temperature is 10,5 °C and average summer temperature is 20 °C
Smoking policy
Participants are requested to refrain from smoking throughout the Convention Centre.
Electricity
Voltage is 220V AC, 50Hz. Plugs have two round pins. Foreign voltage could require an adapter.
Emergency phone numbers
The most important telephone numbers in an emergency are: 192 for calling the police, 193 for the fire brigade, 194 for the ambulance service.
Entry requirements/visas
Passport and visa requirements may differ according to the country of origin, please contact the Serbian Embassy or Consulate in your country. 15th SAPMR Congress of PRM will not be held responsible for visa not granted. An official invitation letter will be sent upon request. It must be understood that such letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee or Congress to provide any financial assistance. Official invitation letters can be requested to the President of the Congress Prof. Milica Lazovic (e-mail: rehabilitacija.direktor@gmail.com ) at least two months in advance.
Insurance/liability
It is recommended that all participants take out a personal travel and health insurance prior to commencement of travel. Further information can be obtained from your travel agent.
The Organizing Committee and/or Congress Organizers shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property of registered delegates of the Congress. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.
Restaurants
Vrnjačka Banja offers wide and suggestive places where to spend your free time, such as restaurants, bars, cafeterias, night clubs and shops.
Moreover, Vrnjacka Banja gives its guests a delicious local gastronomy which, thanks to the use of typical products of land and mountins, proposes tasty menus and traditional dishes famous all over the world. Dairy products, fresh cheese, kajmak, smoked hams are only some of the excellent products which are offered to visitors. |
